To be able to submit your application to the Danish court yourself:

 

1. You have time until you get married and are therefore not dependent on professional help.

2. You have successfully checked on our free platform whether you meet the requirements to get married in Denmark.

3. You have a computer and internet access.

4. You have a credit card or bank account for international transfers.

5. You have an SMS-capable smartphone.

6. You have basic technical knowledge (creating JPEG and PDF).

What services are included in the starter package?

The Starter Plan includes verification of your requirements, access to the online personal information form, a customized document list, one-time document review, step-by-step instructions for completing the forms and direct access to the marriage license application. 

Is it true that it can take 6 months to get married?

The length of the marriage process can vary and depends on various factors such as: B. the type of preparation, the availability of documents and the processing time of the authorities. With our various marriage plans, we offer options for getting married faster, depending on your individual needs. With the Premium Instant Marriage Plan you can even get married in just 1-4 weeks. We recommend starting planning early to make the process as smooth as possible.

What is the difference between the Starter plan and the other plans?

The Starter plan provides the basic services needed to prepare for marriage in Denmark. The other plans offer additional support and services depending on your individual needs.

 

How long does it take until we receive a decision from the court?

The processing time varies, but you will usually receive an initial response from the court within 5 working days. However, if additional documents need to be submitted or discrepancies arise, the processing time can extend to several months. Each case is examined and evaluated individually as it is a legal proceeding. 

How can we speed up the court process?

To speed up the legal process, we recommend completing and submitting the required documents carefully and completely. Ensures that all documents are scanned in the correct form and quality. Before submitting, check that all information is correct and up to date. Accurate and complete filing minimizes the likelihood of questions or late filings that could delay the process.

Can we upgrade to a Basic or Premium plan if things get too difficult for us?

Yes, an upgrade to a Basic or Premium plan is possible as long as the court case has not yet started and no application has been filed. An upgrade gives you access to expanded services and support from our experts to continue the process smoothly. Please note that the timing of the upgrade is important in order to transfer the application and documents at the correct stage.
