1. Scope of application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided through the website heiraten-in-daenemark.dk, are offered.
All services are provided exclusively by Express Wedding ApS provided.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Subject matter of the contract and provision of services

2.1 Starter Plan – Online application preparation

Object:
The Starter Plan is a semi-automated online preparation service for applying for a marriage license in Denmark. It covers only the Preparation of the application and is no wedding booking with us.

Scope of services:

  • Automated online prerequisite check

  • Individual list of required documents

  • Secure upload of personal documents and data in the wedding portal portal.heirat.dk

  • Creation of a tailor-made application plan and checklist

  • Two technical examinations of the submitted documents for completeness, readability and image quality

  • Providing quality examples to optimize documents

Important note:
The customer must submit his application independently at the Danish Family Court (Familieretshuset) and pay the official fee of 2.100 DKK (as of 2025) pay directly by card.

Completion of the service:
The service is deemed to have been provided as soon as the individual application plan has been sent to the customer and portal access has been provided.

2.2 Premium Plan

The Premium Plan is a more comprehensive, personalized service with individual case management, strategic advice, and—where possible—appointment bookings. It is also offered by Express Wedding ApS provided.

3. Withdrawal

According to the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), there is generally a 14-day right of withdrawal.

Start Plan:
Since the Starter Plan is a semi-automated, individually tailored service that rinse after conclusion of the contract, no right of withdrawal pursuant to Article 16(a) and (m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. The customer expressly consents to us commencing the performance of the service before the expiry of the withdrawal period and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal thereby expires.

Premium plan:
The customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the contract, provided the service has not yet been fully provided and the customer has not consented to us commencing performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period. The right of withdrawal expires if the service has been fully provided and the customer has expressly consented to the commencement of performance of the service before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform us (Express Wedding ApS, Valby Langgade 129, st.tv., DK-2500 Valby, telephone: +45 70 72 61 30, email: info@heiraten-in-daenemark.dk) of his decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. letter or e-mail).

4. Prices and payment

  • Start Plan: 490 € per couple plus administration fee (see website for current amount)

  • Premium plan: Price depends on the scope of services

Payment is made in advance via PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer or other offered payment methods.

5. Customer’s obligations and liability

The customer is obliged to provide complete and correct information and to submit all required documents in a timely manner.
Express Wedding ApS is not liable for delays or rejections by authorities resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer.

6. Portal use and technical requirements

After the application plan has been created, the customer receives access to the portal portal.heirat.dk.

Access and security:
Access is personal and may not be shared with third parties. Access data must be treated confidentially.
The portal stores IP addresses, login information, uploads, and processing status for security, support, and verification purposes.

Technical requirements:
Use requires a current web browser and a stable internet connection. Functionality on outdated systems or with unstable connections cannot be guaranteed.

Availability:
We strive to ensure high availability of the portal, but short-term maintenance or interruptions may occur.

Disclaimer for technical problems:
We are not liable for failures, data loss or damage caused by technical problems beyond our control, unless these were caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

All data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and only passed on if this is required by law or necessary to provide services (e.g. to payment providers).

7. Special provisions for the Premium Plan

Express Wedding ApS assumes no liability for weddings that do not take place due to incorrect information, documents sent too late, late registration at the registry office, late arrival for the appointment, missing or forged original documents, exceeding the permitted Schengen days or other reasons for which the client is responsible.

Force majeure:
Express Wedding ApS assumes no liability for force majeure, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, wars, strikes, government closures, or entry restrictions. If the wedding cannot be held due to force majeure, no refunds will be made.

The assessment of the authenticity of a relationship lies solely with the Danish family court.
In the event of an invitation to an interview, the client shall bear all costs for travel and accommodation in Denmark.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The law of the Kingdom of Denmark shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Express Wedding ApS in Denmark.
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
